The earth realm was established on God’s handiwork of time and so everything born into it is subject to its constraints. While God exists beyond and above time, human beings have been assigned time capsules for their earthly existence and they are ingrained with collective and individual God-given purposes within.
Indeed, we have all been gifted the splendour of time yet we seem so entitled to it. So many of us refuse to subject ourselves to the will of our Creator and we press on as if God owes us long life to fulfil our preferred self-wills.
We have become fashionistas of our existence, designing and crafting out who we ought to be. We are hell-bent on pursuing vanity while calling God’s plans for our lives contrary. Those who reject God often forget that they are but mere phantoms rushing about their toils in vain. Those who are wise know God and remember that to lose their soul for the world begets no eternal gain.
For us who are alive, we are on a countdown of hope until that day when we join the dead. King Solomon warned us that life under the sun is nothing but ‘Meaningless! Meaningless!’ What then do we hope for? Is it not the glorious life that awaits us above the sun? Have you forgotten that your time capsule has been sealed beyond human reason?
If God knew us before He formed us in the womb, then He designed each of us with a number to our days. It’s only logical that we ask the one who created us to understand what His will for our lives is.
If one day for God is like a thousand years for man, I dare you to not be a fool. There is a manual for your existence, study it and show yourself approved. Understand that your days on earth are nothing but a shadow, a vapour that appears and then vanishes away. From the beginning of time, God has been the ultimate agriculturalist.
From the ground our forefather Adam was made and to the ground we all are bound to return. God will one day harvest His chosen crop from every seed of life He has sown.
Examine the following Scripture:
2 Peter 3:3-7
“Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.” But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by water. By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the Day of Judgment and destruction of the ungodly.”
From the womb to the grave is a countdown, hinged on the wings of our own free will. Seek God while He may be found, your time left on earth is being counted.
No one knows the day or the hour of their clock’s end as per God’s definitive design. At present, it’s not too late to surrender and allow your will and God’s will to align.
Our decision to obey or disobey God is the only fate we get to decide. I admonish you to go up hither and join yourself in union to Christ as His bride.

“I have seen the burden God has laid on the human race. He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.”
